DHAKA, Aug 25, 2026 (BSS) - Members of  Bangladesh Judicial Service will not be allowed to be directly or indirectly involved in commercial coaching activities, either in person or through digital platforms.

Bangladesh Supreme Court has issued a circular in this connection and signed by its Registrar General Mohammad Habibur Rahman Siddiquee. 

The circular said the directive was issued to uphold the professional discipline, impartiality and dignity of members of the Bangladesh Judicial Service and maintain strong public confidence in the judiciary. 

It also set out instructions regarding their involvement in commercial coaching activities conducted either in person or through digital platforms.

No member of the judicial service may directly or indirectly use, or allow the use of, their name, designation, photograph or identity for promoting commercial coaching activities, either in person or through digital platforms.

No member of the judicial service may disclose, provide or use any confidential, unpublished or official information obtained in the course of performing judicial duties in coaching activities conducted in person or through digital platforms, the circular said.

Members of the judicial service also cannot prepare, edit, publish or provide educational materials for commercially operated coaching activities, whether conducted in person or through digital platforms.

Any violation of the provisions of the circular will result in appropriate action against the concerned member of the judicial service in accordance with the applicable laws and rules governing disciplinary matters.
