DHAKA, Aug 31, 2026 (BSS)- The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has instructed doctors appointed under the 48th (Special) BCS (Health) cadre to submit their joining letters on September 7.

The directive was issued in an office order by Branch-2 of the Health Services Division of the ministry yesterday.

According to the order, doctors appointed to the posts of Assistant Surgeon and Assistant Dental Surgeon under the 48th (Special) BCS (Health) cadre must submit their joining letters in person on the morning of September 7, in accordance with a gazette notification issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on August 25.

The newly appointed doctors have been asked to appear at the Shaheed Abu Sayeed International Convention Centre in Shahbagh and submit their joining letters addressed to the Secretary of the Health Services Division.
