Tahsin loses to his Indian rival Akshay in GM chess

DHAKA, March 25, 2025 (BSS)- FIDE Master Tahsin Tajwar Zia (rating-2327) lost to Indian FIDE Master Borgaonkar Akshay (rating-2418) in first round of Six Days Budapest March 2025, Grand Master Chess tournament which is now being held in Budapest, Hungary, said a press release today.

FIDE Master Tahsin Tajwar Zia will play against International Master Ostrovskiy Aleksandr of the United States of America in the second round which is scheduled to be held today (Tuesday) afternoon. 

A total of ten players, including three Grand Masters, five International Masters and two FIDE Masters from eight countries are participating in the round robin league system.
