DHAKA, April 21, 2025 (BSS)- Shinepukur Cricket Club relegated to first
division cricket league after the defeat to Brothers Union by six wickets in
their last match of Dhaka Premier League's (DPL) relegation league at Sher-e-
Bangla National Cricket Stadium today.

In their first match, they conceded a 19-run defeat to Partex Sporting Club.

Brothers will face off Partex in the last match of the relegation league on
Thursday, a match that will determine the second team which will be demoted
to first division cricket league along with Shinepukur.

In a match that was reduced to 33 overs, due to rain, Shinepukur put up 180-9
after opting to bat first. Minhajul Abedin Sabbir was the top-scorer of the
side with 54 ball-59 not out.

Brothers reached 186-4 for a victory in 30 overs, thanks to Zahiduzzman
Khan's 85 not out and Mizanur Rahman's 69.
