Women's kabaddi team to play fourth match against Nepal tomorrow

DHAKA, April 23, 2025 (BSS)- After a day break, Bangladesh national women's kabaddi team will play their fourth match of the five-match kabaddi test series at Satdobato Taekwondo Hall at Lalitpur in Kathmandu, Nepal tomorrow (Thursday).  

The Bangladesh women's team, which already trails the series 2-1, will be looking to win the Thursday's match against the host side to stay in the series. On the other hand, Nepal need another victory to secure the series.   

Earlier, Bangladesh suffered a 41-18 points defeat to Nepal in the first match and went down 29-22 points defeat in their second match.

Bangladesh however bounced back to register a 26-23 points victory over the hosts in their third match. 

The last match of the series will be held on April 25 at the same venue. 

Bangladesh kabaddi team: Sraboni Mallick (captain), Brishti Biswas (vice captain), Rupali (senior), Smrity Akter, Rekha Akter, Mebi Chakma, Rupali Akter (junior), Anjuara Ratri, Sucharita Chakma, Khadija Khatun, Loba Akter, Yasmin Khanam and Israt Jahan Sadika.
