DHAKA, April 23, 2025 (BSS) - Uttar Baridhara Club, PWD Sports Club and 
Little Friends Club won their respective opening second phase matches of the 
Bashundhara Group Bangladesh Championship League Football held at three 
separate venues today (Wednesday). 

In the day's match, Uttar Baridhara Club blanked Wari by 4-0 goals held at 
Shaheed Barkat Stadium in Gazipur.

In the proceeding, Faisal Ahamed scored a brace in the 66th and 74th minute 
while Sujon Biswas and Arman Hossain supported him with a lone goal in the 
14th and 90th minutes respectively.

In the day's another match held at Bashundhara Kings Arena practice ground, 
PWD Sports Club, came from behind, defeated BFF Elite Football Academy by 2-1 
goals with Tanin Sarkar and Rumon Hossain scored in the 79th and 81st minutes 
respectively for PWD while Mahim Miah Sojib netted a lone goal for BFF Elite 
Football Academy in the 9th minute of the match.

Md Abdullah of PWD Sports Club and Md Rakib of BFF Elite Football Academy 
were shown red card.  

In the day's other match, Little Friends Club edged past tem men Farasjganj 
Sporting Club by a solitary goal scored by Md Amir Ali in the 40th minute of 
the match held at Fortis ground in the capital.
