DHAKA, June 24, 2025 (BSS)-Power Development Board (PWD) emerged champions in the selection round of National Men’s Volleyball competition (30th men’s and 25th women’s) beating Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan (BKSP) by 3-0 sets in the final held at Shaheed Noor Hossain National Volleyball Stadium in the capital today (Tuesday).

Bangladesh Volleyball Federation (BVF) general secretary Bimal Ghosh Bhulu was the chief guest in the final.

Six teams, split into two groups, took part in the selection round. The champions and runners-up team from each group have qualified in the final round.

Earlier, on the day, PWD beat Bangladesh Police by 3-0 set while BKSP defeat Titas Club by 3-2 set in their respective group phase engagements.    

Seven teams of men’s section -- defending champions Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Air Force, Bangladesh Navy, Kushtia, Dhaka, Bogra, and Rajshahi districts -– will directly play in the final round to be held from June 26-20 at the same venue.
