DHAKA, June 30, 2025 (BSS) - Following a thumping 7-0 win over Bahrain in their opening match of the AFC Women's Asian Cup Australia 2026 Qualifiers, the Bangladesh women's national football team underwent a light recovery session today (Monday).

The players participated in a morning swimming session, followed by an afternoon stretching session to aid recovery and maintain flexibility, said a Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) press release today.

Later in the evening, the team held a tactical meeting, where the coaching staff reviewed key moments from the Bahrain match and began preparations for their upcoming fixture against host nation Myanmar, scheduled for July 2 at the Thuwunna Stadium.

The squad remains in high spirits and fully focused as they continue their journey in the qualifiers.

In an audio message, forward Ritu Porna Chakma said the team was happy to secure a good result against Bahrain and was now preparing for the next match.

She added that the recovery session, which included stretching and swimming, was effective, and the team would follow the coach's instructions and try to give their best against Myanmar.
