First Division cricketers seek BCB's assistance

DHAKA, Dec 13, 2025 (BSS) - A group of players representing cricketers 
competing in the Dhaka First Division Cricket League met officials of the 
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) at the BCB Management Office in the capital's 
Mirpur today to outline their concerns and challenges.

The meeting was attended by BCB Directors Nazmul Abedeen, Iftekhar Rahman, 
Abul Bashar and BCB Chief Executive Officer Nizam Uddin Chowdhury. The 
officials gave a patient hearing to the players' submissions.

The players later handed over a letter to the BCB Chief Executive Officer 
(CEO), addressed to the BCB President seeking the Board's assistance in 
ensuring their uninterrupted participation in the ongoing league season and 
the protection of players' interests.
