DHAKA, Aug 18, 2026 (BSS)-The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) today announced the Bangladesh A squad for the first four-day game against South Africa A team.

In their upcoming South Africa tour, the Bangladesh A will play two four-day and three one-day games against the South Africa A team.

Wicket-keeper batter Mahidul Islam Ankon will lead the side for the first match, which also included players like Naim Sheikh, Zakir Hasan, Mahmudul 
Hasan Joy, Parvez Hossain Emon, Nayeem Hasan and others.

The first four-day is scheduled to be held on August 23-26 at Pretoria while Potchefstroom will host the second game from August 30-September 2.

The first one-day game is on September 6 at Bloemfontein, the second one is on September 9 at Kimberly while the third and final one-day will be played 
at Potchefstroom on September 12.

The tour could prove particularly valuable given that the next ODI World Cup will be held in South Africa.
