BHOLA, July 11, 2024 (BSS) - A week-long tree fair was inaugurated in the district town today.

Deputy Commissioner Arifuzzaman inaugurated the fair at a function held at Government Girl's High School field this morning.

Divisional Forest Officer Dr Md Johirul Haque presided over the function. It was addressed, among others, by Zila Parishad Chairman Abdul Momin Tulu, Police Super Md Mahiduzzaman, Upazila Parishad Chairman Mohammad Yunus, Deputy Director of District Department of Agricultural Extension Md Hasan Warisul Kabir and Forest Officer Md Moniruzzaman.

A total of 22 stalls are showing 70 species of trees in the fair.
