DHAKA, Dec 31, 2024 (BSS) - Land ministry senior secretary A S M Saleh Ahmed today said the present interim government is working to make all land related policies people-friendly.
“The government wants to ensure hassle-free land services for people through land reform programme,” he said while speaking at a seminar that was attended by land ministry officials and its affiliated offices and institutions at the conference room of the ministry.
He also said agricultural land, forests and water lands are decreasing for misuse of land. The government has taken a project to protect agricultural land, he added.
Chairman of the Land Reforms Board A. J. M Salahuddin Nagari, Chairman of Land Appeal Board Muhammad Ibrahim and officials of land, ministry, among others, were present in the event.
