Agro-incentive distributed among 800 farmers in Jhenaidah

JHENAIDAH, April 10, 2025 (BSS) - The Department of Agricultural Extension 
(DAE) today distributed jute seeds and fertilizer under "Agricultural 
Incentive Programme" among 800 farmers in Sadar upazila to increase jute 
production in the Kharif-1 season here.

Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Razia Akhter Chowdhury distributed the 
incentives among the farmers at a function held at the Upazila Parishad (UP) 
premises this morning.

Each of the farmers received one kilogram of high yielding variety jute 
seeds, five-kg of Diammonium Phosphate (DAP) fertilizer and five-kg of 
Muriate of Potash (MO) fertilizer.

Sadar Upazila Agriculture Officer Md. Noor A Nabi presided over the function 
while Additional Agriculture Officer Muhammad Junaid Habib was present.
