ICAB launches 'Single Point of Online Services for Members and Other  Stakeholders'

DHAKA, Aug 25, 2024 (BSS) - The 'Single Point of Online Services for Members 
and Other Stakeholders' was launched by the Institute of Chartered 
Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) today at the ICAB auditorium. 

ICAB President Mohammed Forkan Uddin delivered an address of welcome while 
Vice President and Convener of the project 'Single Point of Online Services 
for Members and Other Stakeholders' Maria Howlader elaborated the software 
system. 

ICAB Vice President MBM Lutful Hadee, Immediate Past President Md 
Moniruzzaman and CEO Shubhashish Bose also spoke on the occasion, said a 
press release.

Single Point of Online Services (SPOS) is a unified digital platform where 
users can access a wide range of services and resources from a single 
interface. This platform will offer a seamless and cohesive experience, 
integrating different service offerings like: Members' Services, Students' 
Services like Education and Examinations, Various Professional Matters and 
Stakeholders Query and Service Request.

This is an automated software tool for providing service and monitoring 
service status. It will ensure smooth delivery of the services which are 
requested by the members and the stakeholders of the Institute through the 
system within a stipulated time, said ICAB President Mohammed Forkan Uddin.

ICAB Head of IT Mohammad Deloar Hossain demonstrated the functional aspects 
of the system while ICAB Council Members, former Presidents and members of 
ICAB were present.
