Remittance inflow grows by 11.1 percent till Oct 26

DHAKA, Oct 28, 2025 (BSS) - The inflow of remittances posted an year-on-year growth of 11.1 percent, reaching US$2,166 million in the first 26 days of October, according to the latest data released by Bangladesh Bank (BB) today.

During the same period last year, the country received $1,949 million in remittances.

From July to October 26 of the current 2025-26 fiscal year, expatriates sent a total of $9,752 million, compared to $8,492 million during the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.
