51.7pc growth of remittance inflow till March 10

DHAKA, March 11, 2026 (BSS) - Inflow of remittances witnessed a year-on-year growth of 51.7 percent reaching US$1,738 million in the first ten days of March, according to the latest data of Bangladesh Bank (BB) issued here today.
 
Last year, during the same period, the country's remittance inflow was $1,145 million.
 
During the July to March 10, 2026 of the current fiscal year, expatriates sent remittances of $24,191 million, which was $19,635 million during the same period of the previous fiscal year.
