BHOLA, Aug 12, 2024 (BSS) - All activities of police, including patrol duty, started at 10 police stations of the district today.

People feel relief as activities at 10 police stations and 10 investigation centres of the district began this morning.

Before this, the police used to perform their duties within the police station area.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Md Mahiduzzaman said that the entire operation has started as per the instructions of the interim government. "We will work together to build our country," he said.
 
He said, "Representatives of civil society, political representatives and representatives of the student movement have congratulated us."

"They all assured us of their cooperation. As we have all worked together in the past, currently we are working together with the people and we will work together in the coming days," he added.

On the first day, police were seen patrolling at various points of the district town. The members of the traffic police are also performing their duties.
