CCCI-RCCI distribute blankets among 500 cold-hit people in Rangpur

RANGPUR, Jan 4, 2025 (BSS) - The Chattogram Chamber of Commerce and Industry
(CCCI) in collaboration with the Rangpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry
(RCCI) today distributed blankets among 500 cold-stricken poor and distressed
people.
 
The blankets were distributed among the cold-hit people at a function
arranged on the occasion at the RCCI Public School and College ground in the
metropolis.
 
As part of its social responsibility, the CCCI provided these blankets for
distribution among the cold-stricken people of Rangpur to mitigate their
sufferings, hardship and misery caused by the sweeping cold wave.
 
Rangpur Chamber President Md Akbar Ali with other officials and members of
the Chamber's Board of Directors and the Relief Sub-Council distributed the
blankets among the poor suffering from cold.
 
Addressing the occasion, RCCI President Akbar Ali called upon businessmen,
charity and voluntary organisations, banks and other financial institutions
and affluent people to stand beside the cold-hit people of Rangpur and the
northern region as a whole.
 
Rangpur Chamber-vice President Md Mozammel Haque Dambel, Relief and Crest
Giving Management Sub-Council Convener and Chamber Director Md Taifur Rahman,
Chamber Directors Md Harun-or-Rashid, Md Saiful Alam, Md Altaf Hossain
Chowdhury, Hasan Mahbub Akhter, Md Delwar Hossain Ripon, Md Rezaul Islam, Md
Sabihul Haque, Md Sanoar Hossain, Relief Sub-Council members Mominur Rahman
Liton, Md Mojibur Rahman and Chamber Office Secretary Dr Md Reza-un-Nur were
present at the distribution ceremony.
