Man electrocuted in Bogura

BOGURA, Jan 4, 2025 (BSS) - A man died after being electrocuted at Kadma 
village of Adamdighi upazila in the district today.

The deceased was Arfan Ali, 50, son of late Umed Ali, a resident of the 
aforesaid area.

Police said Arfan came in contact with a live electric wire around 10 am 
while he was cutting a branch of a palm tree at the village. He died on the 
spot.

Being informed, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body, said SM 
Mostafijur Rahman, officer-in-charge (OC) of Adamdighi Police Station.
