Youth held with firearms, ammunitions in Satkhira

KHULNA, Jan 4, 2025 (BSS) - Police arrested an alleged arms-trader with three 
foreign pistols and ammunition from a village in the district last night.

On a tip-off, a team of detective branch arrested the youth identified as 
Asadul Gazi, 32, from Kulpukur area in Jagannathpur village under Debhata 
upazila in the district.

Police said the team recovered three foreign pistols. Six rounds of bullets 
and six magazines from him.

Police Inspector Nizamuddin said a case was registered with Devatha Police 
Station in this connection.
