Three brickfields fined TK 14 lakhs in Gaibandha

GAIBANDHA, Jan 5, 2025 (BSS) - Department of Environment has fined three brickfields Tk 14 lakh for various reasons including not having proper documents and no objection certificate in Palashbari upazila of the district.

Officials said a mobile court led by Executive Magistrate Al-Yasha, also upazila assistant commissioner (Land), on Saturday conducted separate drives and fined three brickfields.
 
Inspector of DoE Mohammad Sher Alam was present during the drives.
