NOAKHALI, Jan 23, 2025 (BSS) - At least two house and 11 shops were burnt in 
a fire broke out at Hatiya last night.

The fire originated from a cosmetic shop after electric short circuit at 
Afazia Bazar of Shukchar union in the upzila around 11.45pm, said the local 
traders.

Being informed, two units of Hatiya Fire Service station rushed to the spot 
and brought the fire under control after two hours effort, said Harun-Ar 
Rashid, an official of Hatiya Fire Service station.
