Jubo League leader arrested in Manikganj

MANIKGANJ, Jan 23, 2025 (BSS) - Police arrested Abdur Razzaque Raja, the convener of the district Jubo League and former panel mayor, from Dhaka last night in connection with multiple criminal cases.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Manikganj Police Station, Aman Ullah Aman, confirmed that Abdur Razzaque was detained in the Dhanmondi area of Dhaka around 11 pm on Wednesday.

Following the arrest, Abdur Razzaque was brought to Manikganj.

He is accused in three cases, including the attack on students and people, as well as the destruction and arson attack on the BNP district office, which are registered at various police stations.
