Motorcyclist killed in Rajshahi

RAJSHAHI UNIVERSITY, Jan 24, 2025 (BSS) - A college student was killed in a motorbike accident on the Rajshahi University (RU) campus last night.

The deceased is Shimul Shihab hailed from the Meherchandi Budhpara area of Rajshahi city.

Professor Mahbubur Rahman, proctor of the Rajshahi University, said while Shihab and his friend were leaving the RU campus on a motorcycle, he fell off the vehicle and critically injuried.

He was rushed to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) where he died around 11pm.
