GAZIPUR, Jan 24, 2025 (BSS)- Two motorcyclists were killed when a Dhaka bound train from Rajshahi hit their motorbike at Konabari level crossing on Dhaka-Tangail rail line last night.

The accident occurred around 11 pm, killing the motorcyclists on the spot, said Officer in Charge (OC) of Konabari Police Station Nazrul Islam.

The deceased were identified as Ujjal Chowdhury, 35, son of Salauddin Siddiqui and Ripon Mahmud, 45, son of Habibur Rahman of Konabari Nagar Housing area.

The police recovered the bodies and necessary legal action is underway.
