Rangpur Ganatantra Manch protests Israeli genocide

RANGPUR, April 8, 2025 (BSS) - The Rangpur district unit of 'Ganatantra Mancha' today organised protest rally and procession to protest the Israeli aggression and genocide in Gaza and Rafah in Palestine. 
 
Rangpur district unit coordinator of Ganatantra Mancha' and district JSD president Amin Uddin presided over the protest rally and rally held on the Rangpur Press Club premises this afternoon. 
 
Convener of Rangpur district Ganosamhati Andolan Touhidur Rahman, district convener of Nagorik Oikko Abdul Jabbar, its joint secretary Mahi Azad, general secretary of Rangpur metropolitan JSD ABM Mashiur Rahman, District Coordinator of State Reform Movement Professor Chinu Kabir, its Rangpur divisional coordinator of Advocate Raihan Kabir and district office coordinator Kanak Rahman and JSD leader Sergeant (Retd) Atiar Rahman, among others, addressed the agitation programme. 
 
The speakers said that the indiscriminate bombing, land grabbing, killing of civilians and crimes against humanity in Gaza and Rafah must be stopped immediately. 
 
The historical and legal right of the Palestinians to establish an independent state must be fully recognized. In addition, full transparency and cooperation must be ensured in the investigation by the International Court of Justice (ICC) and the United Nations. 
 
Professor Chinu Kabir said that any inhumanity of the Israeli aggression and genocide in Gaza and Rafah in the Palestine is inferior. 
 
"Israel has been unjustly established on Palestinian land in the interest of establishing trade, aggression and plunder by US imperialism and its allies. Peace in the Middle East can only be established by defeating Zionism," he said. 
 
The speakers called on all people around the world, including the UN and OIC, to raise their voices to stop this genocide by Israel.
