BAGERHAT, May 11, 2025 (BSS) - A person was killed in a road accident in the Attakir Megnishtola area of Fakirhat upazila of the district today.

The deceased, Md Munna Fakir, 20, son of Nowab Ali Fakir, was a resident of the Pagla Uttarpara area of the upazila.

Munna lost control of his motorbike and hit a roadside pillar in the area, leaving him critically injured, said Sheikh Nuruzzaman, officer-in-charge of Mollahat Highway Thana.

Later, locals rescued him and took him to the upazila health complex, where the on-duty doctors declared him dead.
