KUSHTIA, May 12, 2025 (BSS) - The district administration today distributed donation cheques to the families of 492 Category-C injured of the July-August Uprising.

Deputy Commissioner Taufiqur Rahman handed over the cheques of Taka 100,000 to each of the recipients as the chief guest at a function held at the auditorium of the district Shilpakala Academy this morning. 

Superintendent of Police Mizanur Rahman was present as the special guest. Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Partha Pratim Sil conducted the programme.

Donation checks were distributed among the injured persons in six upazilas of the district.
