Motorcyclist killed in Satkhira road accident

SATKHIRA, May 12, 2025 (BSS) - A motorcyclist was killed as a trolley hit his motorbike on the Kulia-Komarpur road in Debhata upazila of the district today.

Deceased Abdur Rahman, 35, son of Jumman Gazi, was a resident of Komarpur village of the upazila.

The accident took place in Kulia area around 11 am when a brick-laden trolley hit a motorcycle from opposite direction, leaving its rider Abdur Rahman critically injured, said Officer-in-Charge of Sadar Police Station Saminul Haque. 

Locals rescued and took him to Satkhira Medical College Hospital where on-duty doctor declared him dead.
