MUNSHIGANJ, May 12, 2025 (BSS) - A four-year-old boy drowned in a pond at Dakshin Khidirpur village of Latabdi union under Sirajdikhan upazila today.
The deceased was identified as Ayatul Khan, son of Zahid Khan, a resident of the village.
Officer-in-Charge of Sirajdikhan Police Station Md. Shahed Al Mamun said the child left home around 8 am in search of his grandmother and accidentally fell into a pond next to the house.
After rescuing, family members took him to the upazila health complex, where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.
