GOPALGANJ, May 19, 2025 (BSS) - A college student was killed and another injured as a truck hit their motorbike in Konagram area of Majhigati union in Sadar upazila last night.
The deceased was identified as Shakib Sardar, 25, son of Hannan Sardar, a resident of Khanarpar village of the upazila.
The accident occurred on the Gopalganj-Kotalipara road when a truck hit a motorcycle from opposite direction, leaving bike rider Shakib dead on the spot and its pillion injured, said Mir Mohammad Sajedur Rahman, Officer-in-Charge of Gopalganj Sadar Police Station.
The injured was taken to Gopalganj 250-bed General Hospital.
