MAGURA, Aug 22, 2025, (BSS) – Local BNP today organized a rally here as part of its preparation for the upcoming 13th National Parliamentary Election. 

The rally was held today on the premises of Kaliprosanno Secondary School in Shatrujitpur Union under Magura Sadar upazila with former president of Magura South unit BNP Sheikh Shafiqul Islam in the chair.

Alhaj Kazi Salimul Haque Kamal, ex MP of Magura-2 constituency, attended the rally as the chief guest while Dhaka South Metropolitan Jubo Dal’s Member Secretary Robiul Islam Noyon was special guest. 

Alhaj Kazi Salimul Haque Kamal said BNP is the party of the people, and the only party with a clear plan to protect the country’s education and health sectors. BNP has already announced a 31-point reform programme, with top priority given to education and healthcare, he added.  

Magura District Jubo Dal President Washiqur Rahman Kallol, General Secretary Firoz Ahmed, Magura District Swechchhasebak Dal Convener Golam Zahid, former upazila chairman Jahangir Alam Bacchu, Magura Sadar Upazila Jubo Dal Convener Syed Kutubuddin Rana, and former District Chhatra Dal General Secretary S.M. Abu Taher Sabuj, among others, were present at the rally. 

At the end of the rally, the leaders and activists pledged to work unitedly to ensure BNP’s victory in the upcoming national election.
