Bangladesh Army conducts free medical campaign in Joypurhat

DHAKA, May 20, 2025 (BSS) - As part of its ongoing humanitarian outreach, the Bangladesh Army organized a free medical campaign today in Joypurhat district, offering vital healthcare services to local residents.

The initiative, overseen by the 11th Infantry Division of the Bogura region, took place on the premises of Khet Lal Model Pilot School.

A total of 938 people from surrounding areas received free medical consultations and medicines during the day-long program.

Specialist doctors from various disciplines including general medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics and ophthalmology were present to provide healthcare services and ensure comprehensive treatment for the attendees.

This medical campaign is part of a broader initiative to extend healthcare support across the Rajshahi division.

Similar medical camps are scheduled to be held in other districts of the division soon.

The Bangladesh Army reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to continuing its humanitarian support across the Rajshahi division.
