MUNSHIGANJ, May 22, 2025 (BSS)- Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-10) arrested a 
fugitive accused in drug-related cases in the district last night.

The arrested was identified as Md. Farukh Hossain, 42, son of Md. Salauddin 
alias Selu of Natunchar area under Gajaria upazila of the district.

Assistant Director of the Media Cell of RAB-10 Shamim Hasan Sarder confirmed 
the matter here today. 

He said, acting on a tip-off, a team of the elite force conducted a raid in 
the area and nabbed Farukh Hossain. He had been sentenced to five years of 
rigorous imprisonment and fined Taka 10,000 in two drug-related cases filed 
with Sadar Police Station.
 
Later, the arrested was handed over to Sadar Police Station, the RAB official 
added.
