Three July uprising martyrs’ families get financial aid in Netrakona

NETRAKONA, July 9, 2025 (BSS) – The district administration today distributed financial assistance among three martyrs’ families of the 2024 July Uprising.

Deputy Commissioner Banani Biswas handed over savings certificates of Taka 10 lakh to each of the martyrs’ families at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner this afternoon.

Earlier, savings certificates of Taka 10 lakh each have been distributed among 14 more martyr families in the district.

Additional District Magistrate Sukhmoy Sarkar moderated the programme. Senior Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate Md. Shahnur Rahman, District Press Club Secretary Mahbubul Kibria Chowdhury Helim, District BNP Joint Convener SM Moniruzzaman Dudu, Jatiya Nagorik Party Central Organizer Pritam Sohag, Jatiya Nagorik Party Central Member Fahim Rahman Khan Pathan, Assistant Secretary General of the Central Committee of Bangladesh Khilafat Movement Gazi Abdur Rahim Ruhi were present, among others.
