Firearm, bullets seized in Chuadanga

CHUADANGA, July 24, 2025 (BSS) - Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) seized a foreign-made pistol, a magazine and three bullets from Goalpara village under Jibannagar upazila of the district this morning.

Acting on a tip-off, a team from Notunpara Border Outpost (BOP) under Maheshpur BGB-58 Battalion conducted a raid at the village and recovered the firearm and ammunition from a brick kiln around 6 am, said a press release issued by BGB-58 Battalion at noon.

The seized items were later handed over to Jibannagar Police Station, the release added.
