NILPHAMARI, July 24, 2025 (BSS) - Different educational materials were distributed among 400 children and students of the district Sadar this afternoon at the initiative of the District Council.                                                 

Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Nairuzzaman distributed the materials as the chief guest at a function held at Shilpakala Academy auditorium this morning.

Zila Parishad Chief Executive Officer Dipankar Roy presided over the function.

Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Saiful Islam, Upazila Primary Education Officer Md. Jasizul Alam, District Cultural Officer Nuzhat Tabassum and others spoke at the program. 

Educational materials were distributed among 400 students of 207 government primary schools in Sadar upazila. Each of the students received one school bag, one tiffin box and one water container.

Dipankar Roy said the programme is being implemented in six upazilas of the district. A total of 2,400 students will get the educational materials in the district.
