Two held with firearm, bullets in Dinajpur

DINAJPUR, Aug 17, 2025 (BSS) - Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a drive arrested two people with a foreign-made pistol and five rounds of bullets from Sadar upazila here today. 

The arrested were Md. Moslem Uddin, 35, son of Md. Abdul Jabbar of Boragram in Sadar upazila and Mursalin Babu, 28, of the same area.

On a tip-off, a team of the RAB conducted a drive near Boragram Government Primary School this morning and arrested them with the firearm and bullets from a house, said a press release sent by Additional Superintendent of Police Biplob Kumar Goswami, also senior assistant director of the Public Relations Department of Dinajpur RAB-13 Camp.

They were handed over to Dinajpur Sadar Kotwali Police Station.

A case was filed in this connection, the release added.
