DHAKA, Aug 17, 2025 (BSS) - The police arrested 1629 more crime suspects and seized 14 firearms and huge ammunition in the ongoing nationwide operation in the last 24 hours.

According to the Police Headquarters, 1012 of them were arrested in previous cases and pending warrants while 617 other were captured on various criminal charges. 

One air gun, three foreign pistols, seven LGs, one country made single barrel gun, two revolver like guns, 24 rounds of cartridges, 17 rounds of bullet, three blank magazines, seven cartridges like object and several sharp weapons were seized during the operation.
