3 killed in Munshiganj road crash

MUNSHIGANJ, Aug 21, 2025 (BSS) - Three people were killed in a road accident 
on the Dhaka-Mawa Expressway at Srinagar upazila of the district this 
morning.

The deceased were Raisa Akhtar, 20, Md Arman, 25, and Tanjil, 24.

The accident took place near Shologhar passenger shed around 6 am when a 
Dhaka-bound private car overturned after hitting the road divider as its 
driver lost control over the vehicle, leaving car passengers Arman and Tanjil 
dead on the spot and two other injured, said Hasara Highway Police Station 
Officer-in-Charge Abdul Quader Jilani.

The injured was taken to Srinagar Upazila Health Complex where the on-duty 
doctor declared Raisa dead.
