DHAKA, Aug 21, 2025 (BSS)- Five more second round matches of Ruchi 36th National Women's Handball competition were held at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium in the capital today (Thursday).

On the day, Panchagarh District Sports Association (DSA) beat Jamalpur DSA by 35-21 goals after leading the first half by 21-9 goals, Jahangirnagar University defeated Narail DSA by 17-10 goals after dominating the first half by 11-3 goals, Jashore DSA outclassed Bogra DSA by 31-5 goals after leading the first half by 21-2 goals, Jamalpur DSA overpowered Jahangirnagar University by 24-11 goals after leading the first half by 11-6 goals and Panchagarh defeated Naogaon DSA by 29-11 goals after dominating the first half by 14-6 goals.

A total of nine teams, split into two groups, are taking part in the second round.
