Speakers calls for taking steps to improve quality of secondary level education

TANGAIL, Sept 9, 2025 (BSS) – Speakers at a view-exchange meeting today called for taking steps to improve standard of education at secondary level  as it is important part of the entire education system.
      
The government should give special attention at the secondary level education to ensure better contribution at all stages of education particularly tertiary level,  they told the meeting in the Ghatail upazila of Tangail district.
 
The meeting was held in the upazila parishad auditorium where the Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md. Abu Sayeed attended as the chief guest and Upazila Secondary Education official presided over the meeting, among others.

Abu Sayeed said, “Students at secondary school students are becoming dependent on guidebooks and private tuition due to heavy curriculum .  . . we have to prepare updated version of curriculum to decrease dependency on unfair practices.”
