Two deer being chased by tiger rescued in Bagerhat

BAGERHAT Sept 27, 2025 (BSS) - Locals rescued two deer and finally released 
them in the Sundarbans here today.
 
"The deer earlier jumped into the Barai river from the Karamjal Tourist 
Center this morning after being chased by a tiger and crossed about two and a 
half kilometers to the Sundartala village locality," Karamjal Tourist Center 
Officer-in-Charge Azad Kabir told BSS this evening. 
 
Upon receiving the news, the forest guards of Karamjal point with the help of 
local people rescued the two deer this afternoon and brought them to the 
Karamjal Tourist Center by boat, he added.
