CHATTOGRAM, Oct 4, 2025 (BSS)- Police, in a drive, arrested Md. Zahidul Hasan Murad alias Nur Islam (32) in the Hathazari Police Station area here today.
Based on secret information, a team of Bayazid Bostami Police Station in cooperation with Hathazari Thana Police arrested Nur Islam from a rented house in Majuripara area under Bayazid Thana at about 2:30am today.
During the drive, police recovered a country-made LG firearm with a wooden butt and nine cartridges from his possession, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bayazid Bostami Police Station Md. Kamruzzaman confirmed.
A total of 11 cases were pending against him in different police stations, including four cases at Bayazid Bostami Police Station in the city, the OC added.
