Fugitive accused in arms case arrested in Ctg

CHATTOGRAM, Oct 27, 2025 (BSS) - Police have arrested Humayun Kabir, a fugitive accused in the arms case from city's Double Mooring Thana on Monday. 

OC Monirul Islam Bhuiyan of Raozan Police Station confirmed the arrest. 
 
The arrested Humayun Kabir is the son of Abdur Rashid of Kochukhaine village in Noapara union of Raozan Police Station.   

Monirul  Bhuiyan said that based on secret information, Humayun Kabir, an accused in the arms case, was arrested from Karnaphuli Police Station area on Sunday night. 

He was sentenced to two years in jail in the arms case with Double Mooring Police Station. He said that the arrested accused was handed over to the court today.
