BGB distributed humanitarian aid among poor in Rangamati

RANGAMATI, Oct 28, 2025 (BSS) - Humanitarian assistance has been provided to the poor and helpless underprivileged people of remote Chhota Harina in Barkal upazila of the district under the Harmony and Development Project.
 
Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Rangamati Sector Commander Colonel Ahsan Habib PSC distributed the humanitarian assistance among the poor and helpless underprivileged people at the initiative of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Chhota Harina Zone.
 
Chhota Harina Zone Commander Lt. Colonel Imrul Kayes Mehedi, Medical Officer Captain Asifur Rahman, Assistant Director Quartermaster Masud Rana, local public representatives and dignitaries were present at the time.
 
At the time, the Sector Commander said that besides protecting the border, the BGB is working to improve the quality of life of the people living along the border. We want peace, harmony and development in the area.
 
During this time, sewing machines, corrugated iron, financial donations, livestock, as well as sports equipment and donations to various mosques and monasteries were provided to the needy and helpless people in the areas.
