Two more held in tenant murder case in Ctg

CHATTOGRAM, Oct 28, 2025 (BSS) - Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-7 have arrested two more fugitives in connection with the murder of tenant Ful Mia, who was killed during a dispute in the city's Bayezid area.

The arrestees were identified as Md. Alam, 25, son of Mujibul Haque Molla, and Sakhara, 32, daughter of Md. Abdul Mabud, both residents of Maijpara under Bayezid Bostami Police Station.

According to police source, the incident occurred when the house owner attacked Ful Mia during a dispute over the utility bills.

RAB-7 Assistant Director (Media) A. R. M. Mozaffar Hossain confirmed the arrests on Tuesday, adding that Alam, the second accused in the case, was detained from Pathania Goda area under Chandgaon Police Station on Monday night.
