KHULNA, Oct 28, 2025 (BSS) – Aimed at preventing road accidents and easing traffic congestion, Khulna Metropolitan Police (KMP) organized a colorful traffic awareness rally from the city’s Zero Point intersection this morning.
A large number of Easybike drivers participated in the event.

Additional Police Commissioner (Traffic and Protocol) Muhammad Shahnewaz Khaled attended the rally as the chief guest.

Before the rally began, Deputy Police Commissioner (Traffic) Shafiqul Islam administered an oath to Easybike drivers, urging them to drive cautiously near schools and colleges, avoid carrying passengers beside the driver, refrain from blocking intersections, and never operate vehicles while tired or stop randomly to pick up passengers.

The Additional Police Commissioner emphasized that illegal parking at intersections and on busy streets is a major cause of traffic congestion in the city.
He also instructed drivers not to race or occupy the entire road and urged them to strictly follow traffic rules, as highlighted on the placards carried during the rally.
