SUNAMGANJ, Nov 7, 2025 (BSS) - The historical "Revolution and Solidarity Day" was observed in a befitting manner in the district. 

Sunamganj district BNP and its affiliated organisations observed the Day with the theme "Proponent of multi-party democracy, architect of self-reliant Bangladesh, great independence proclaimer, valiant freedom fighter, Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman, Bir Uttam, Lau Lau Lau Salam". 

A huge procession from the district's Old Bus stand circumambulated the main roads of the city. Later, a discussion meeting was held there. 

Sunamganj District BNP Convener Kalim Uddin Ahmed Milon, District BNP Convener Committee members Advocate Abdul Haque, Advocate Nurul Islam Nurul, Advocate Shernur Ali, Advocate Masuk Alam, Junaid Ahmed, Monazzir Hossain Sujan, leader Suhel Ahmed, Jubo Dal leader Jahangir Alam were present. 

In addition, a rally and discussion meeting were held in Dharmapasha Upazila of the district to mark the day. 

Dharmapasha Upazila BNP convener Md. Liaquat Ali, joint conveners SM Rahmat, Nurul Islam and Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, members of the convening committee Mamun or Rashid Shanto, Mujibur Rahman, spoke at that time.
