JOYPURHAT, Nov 7, 2025 (BSS) - The "National Revolution and Solidarity Day" was observed in Joypurhat today with due dignity through rallies, wreath-laying, and special prayers organized by the district unit of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP).

District BNP convener Golzar Hossain, senior joint convener and BNP-nominated candidate for Joypurhat-1 Masud Rana Pradhan, former whip Abu Yusuf Md. Khalilur Rahman, and other local leaders placed wreaths at the portrait of party founder and Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman at the district BNP office on Station Road in the morning.

The programme included the hoisting of national and party flags and a special prayer seeking the welfare of the nation, the recovery of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia, and the safe return of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman.

Later, a colorful rally paraded through the town's main streets and concluded at the Circuit House ground with speeches from party leaders.
